With nothing left but a lock of Abby's hair, Sarah turned to the Eternal Pyre, where she prayed for the strength to fight the Abyss and prevent anyone from being lost to it again. Sarah tried to fight the Magistrate, to prevent her sister from being taken, but a normal girl was no match for the Magistrate, and Abby was taken away. Sarah once lived peacefully in the village of Seris alongside her sister, Abby that is, until Corvus arrived, believing sacrificing an individual to the Abyssal portal present in the village would prevent any disasters from occurring.
