(other mods ive gotten i dont even see - no changes in game or enabling options). Idk what would need to be changed for the mod to just work from the start.have vortex not create an extra folder? I can still click enable disable mod in game before i do this. I have to open this 2nd folder, copy its contents. Inside that folder.there is a folder named "wagon_O_B_D". To get it to work i typically have to go into the mod folder vortex created.lets say 'wagonODB'. I hope this can help others to understand this error and maybe even help Red Hook solve it, as I can see other users suffering it under different circumstances.įeel free to comment with your own experiences and we'll try and see how your particular circumstances are being affected. When i download a mod and activate it through vortex it doesn't work right away (Darkest Dungeon - havent tried with other games really) And all saves created previous to this process are fully accessible. Meaning it will again let you create a new game, then corrupt a slot, then fine. Last detail, reinstalling the game seems to reset this process. The corrupted save slot shows up as having a folder, but if you attempt to open it, it says access denied, most likely the cause of the crash. The problem definitely lies in this folder:Ĭ:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\"Steam User ID #"\262060\remote Afterwards, no further save slots are corrupted, that is to say, I can freely create and delete a recreate saves in all other slots. Then the save slot where I attempt to create the next new game is corrupted, meaning anytime I attempt to create a new save in it, it will cause the above crash. Interestingly enough, the game allows me to create one new save no problem. (That is to say I had saves in the cloud from playing on a different computer). This happened on a fresh install on a new computer. I keep getting a red flag stating 2 files failed to correctly deploy (check log for details, which I couldn't find where to access this), stating the files are locked by external applications, which I hadn't experienced before until after I decided to remove mods from Vortex and my Skyrim that was proving to being too buggy for my game to handle. I am able to load my previous save just fine. The crash occurs when I attempt to create a new game in a specific save file. StoreManager::TransferFile in storage_manager.cpp line 879 I am getting the Assert Failed crash many people have reported.
